Holistic Croquettes are part of the Basic category because they contain by-products of meat and fish integrated with vitamins, minerals and other nutrients.
The quality of the raw ingredients used is such that the risks of food intolerance can be excluded or reduced to a minimum. Specifically, the use of brown rice as the only cereal (it is a hypoallergenic cereal well tolerated by the majority of cats). The fact that the product is chemical additive free is a further guarantee.
Holistic Cat is available as 7 recipes for adult cats. All recipes are enriched with natural substances whose properties are well known:
- alfalfa rich in vitamins and mineral salts
- grape seed extract and green tea extract which contain powerful antioxidants that check ageing processes
- vegetable skins: coming from a mixture of vegetables rich in antioxidants and a source of vegetable fibre
- folic acid (a group B vitamin) that has a preventive action with regards to a number of genetic disorders
- taurine – essential for cats as they are not able to synthesise it
- yeast rich in group B vitamins
